Carter Blueberry Farm is a family-owned and operated farm that has been in business for over 50 years. This 6-acre Fayetteville blueberry orchard offers fun “pick your own” events throughout the year, giving kids a berry-picking experience that is fun and nutritious. Visiting is simple! Come down to the farm and pick some delicious blueberries. When you’re all done, they’ll weigh the berries and let you know how much you owe – and the prices are much more affordable than grocery stores!

Fascinate-U Children’s Museum in Fayetteville has served the local community kids since 1994. It is located in the city’s historic downtown area. This hands-on museum is a destination where kids can explore the world through creative role-playing and exploration. The whole museum is set up as a miniature city where kids can engage in pretend play while they learn about professions and services in their local community. The mini city lets kids collaborate and interact with one another in a safe setting, promoting teamwork, creativity, and imagination.
Fascinate-U is a fun, engaging educational destination that provides real-world experiences to young kids so they can learn about a variety of professions and careers. The interactive exhibits allow kids to experience challenges and explore their individual interests. Electric City is a place where kids can “charge it up,” letting them explore the workings of electricity while they discover how it is used in everyday routines. The Showtime Stage is a theatrical area where kids can explore vibrant costumes, props, and instruments, and they can put on a spectacular performance where they shine like true stars. There are many other exhibits where kids can have fun engaging in dress-up and pretend play.

The Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville is a great educational place to visit if your kids are history buffs. This museum preserves the extraordinary feats performed by the United States Army’s Airborne and Special Operations Forces. Kids can come to see what brings out the best in America’s sons and daughters at this museum, which stands as a source of pride for all who served or now serve in the United States Army Airborne and Special Operations units. The museum’s main exhibit gallery transports people through time, beginning in 1940 with the beginning of the U.S. Army Parachute Test Platoon and ending with today’s Airborne and Spec Ops units. Exhibits include Early Airborne, World War II, Korea and Cold War, Korea, The Homefront, Vietnam, Contingency Operations and Training, and the Global War on Terrorism.
