This hands-on museum is a destination where kids can explore the world through creative role-playing and exploration. The whole museum is set up as a miniature city where kids can engage in pretend play while they learn about professions and services in their local community. The mini city lets kids collaborate and interact with one another in a safe setting, promoting teamwork, creativity, and imagination.

The Showtime Stage is a theatrical area where kids can explore vibrant costumes, props, and instruments, and they can put on a spectacular performance where they shine like true stars. This museum preserves the extraordinary feats performed by the United States Army’s Airborne and Special Operations Forces. Kids can come to see what brings out the best in America’s sons and daughters at this museum, which stands as a source of pride for all who served or now serve in the United States Army Airborne and Special Operations units. The museum’s main exhibit gallery transports people through time, beginning in 1940 with the beginning of the U.S. Army Parachute Test Platoon and ending with today’s Airborne and Spec Ops units. Exhibits include Early Airborne, World War II, Korea and Cold War, Korea, The Homefront, Vietnam, Contingency Operations and Training, and the Global War on Terrorism.
